Mr. Yagel is licensed as both an Attorney and Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida . He received his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Stetson University in Deland, Florida and his Juris Doctorate degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio . Mr. Yagel is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.  He has authored multiple articles and lectured on the issue of accountant's liability and represented clients in a multitude of areas including, but not limited to, complex professional liability cases, contract disputes, complex business and commercial transactions and litigation, tax matters and insurance cases. He has over 15 years of  experience representing clients in both trial and appellate courts and his reported appellate decisions include the pivotal Florida Supreme Court case of  KPMG Peat Marwick v National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania .

His representation of clients includes individuals, small businesses and national and international companies such as AIG Insurance and its affiliates, Underwriters at Lloyds, London (Lloyds of London), Chemical Bank, Nissan Motors Acceptance Corporation, Associated Aviation Underwriters, United Airlines, US Airways, Delta Airlines, the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation), and the FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation).
