In 1995, two law firms merged to form Hershoff, Lupino & Yagel, LLP, with the goal of providing a full range of top quality legal services to residents and visitors in South Florida and the Florida Keys. Hershoff, Lupino & Yagel, LLP, has a tradition of serving the community as well as serving clients.

• Attorney and founding partner Jay Hershoff has served as Chair of the Board of Mariners Hospital and as a member of the Board of Trustees of Baptist Health South Florida. He has also provided his legal services as Past Director and Vice Chair of the Upper Keys Bar Association.
• Attorney and founding partner James Lupino has served the Florida Bar Association as the representative of the 16th Judicial Circuit to the Board of Governors and as Chair of the Member Benefits Committee. He has donated his time to the Upper Keys Rotary Club board and has chaired the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce.

That community leadership extends to other members of the firm who play important roles in the Upper Keys Bar Association, Baptist Health Systems' Mariners Hospital, Key Largo Chamber of Commerce, Key Largo Rotary, Upper Keys Rotary, Islamorada Chamber of Commerce, and Leadership Monroe County. At the state level, members of the firm are members of the Florida Humanities Council, Leadership Monroe, Tropical Audubon Society, Cultural Council of South Dade, Florida International University Golden Panther Club, the Masonic Blue Lodge Mahi Shrine, and the Florida Bar Association.
